Lower and Capital Case Sandpaper Letters with Boxes

Lower and Capital Case Sandpaper Letters with Boxes includes both letter cases. All lowercase letters are pink, and all capital letters are blue. Each tile measures 3.5 × 2.75 inches.

Sandpaper letters are traditionally used to connect the sound of a letter with its visible form and tracing movement. This combines listening, looking, and touch in one activity before the child needs to reproduce the form with a pencil.

The two letter cases provide different forms to encounter within letter work. A teacher can keep each presentation focused on the forms being introduced, using sound recognition and tracing as the central activity.
