Montessori Egg Cup

As simple as it is, the wood cup and egg is fascinating for babies. This material requires the young child to use both hands, first just banging the egg and cup together and then later picking up the cup and dumping out the egg. Eventually the child gains the fine motor skills to place the egg carefully back in the cup. This experimental toy lends it self to discovery, while also developing grasping, hand- eye coordination, concentration, fine motor skills and problem solving skills.
